Varietal Grape Skin and Seed Flours
Our gluten-free flour is made from fine wine grape seeds and skins harvested under the freshness and sunshine of some of California’s best vineyards – coastal vineyards 100% sustainably farmed by our sister company, Jackson Family Wines. These antioxidant-rich raw ingredients include world class varietals like Chardonnay, Cabernet, Syrah and Merlot. For grapeseed flour, we use a special heated air dryer to prevent spoilage and maintain freshness attributes. Next, we lightly press the seeds allowing some of the natural grapeseed oil to remain in them, All of it is then finely milled into flour. Skin flour is similarly dried and milled, but no pressing is required. Because of the unusually fresh sourcing of our flour ingredients, flavors are bolder and textures distinct, allowing you more options in preparing your culinary creations.
